Wooooo! Yes, I'll admit that I'm a little over excited, but its going to be a good season. Mt Rainier and the Black Dike are on the horizon (at the very least). Post some pictures on here eh? Cilley-Barber, Feb 2010.

Thanks! No big deal, really. About 15 m up on a WI4. Found a good stance, and just leaned over with a Canon Ixus point-and-shoot. I'm very happy with the result

Yes! Definitely getting geared up for the season. No photos to contribute, but I made this video of some glacier ice wandering in Alaska this summer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWueKUGCF-8 Enjoy the upcoming season!

This was my only ice climb. Pretty mellow bunch of steps. My partner solo'd it then lowered a rope for me. Climbed with a Quark and a BD Raven Pro. A little awkward with the mountaineering ax but it got the job done and was great for the rest of the snow slog.
