In reply to: Out of curiousity, what the hell is going on with all of these "I am doing a project for school and need your information for research" threads going on lately??? This is like the third or fourth one this month that requested a lot of personal information for people to be posting for the sake of "research" or a "project". Is it mid terms or something? And what kind of project is this info being used for? Just curious that's all. that, and/or it's a disguised excuse for people to spray and a tool to screen for the single peeps of desired age and location :) and maybe find the gear sugar daddies/mommies too? :P

For all you curious people... The info is for a final proyect I have to turn in in my statistics class... Before mid-terms I need to round up enough data to use an then analize with all those freaky formulas and stuff they make us learn... And no I'm not trying to "scope people's stats" Hehehe ... Thanks to everyone that has been kind enough to help...

Thanks to everyone that has been kind enough to help... allrighty, i'll bite. who knows, maybe i'll get some PM's outta this :wink: :D Age: 25 Home: Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, United States $/yr spent on equipment: err, no idea. average it out over the time i've been climbing: several pairs of shoes, a trad rack, a sport rack, a couple ropes, crashpad, ice tools + boots 'n such (and does technical clothing used only when climbing count?). probably somewhere in the ballpark of $150-$2500 per year. yeah, i'm a gear freak/whore :) Time climbing: 3 years Hardest route: 5.12b sport, 5.9 trad, V7, WI3 on screws, WI4+ TR Best place to climb: JTree/Bishop/RRG/HP40/Hueco/SoIll...doesn't matter, as long as it's in good company and fun! Current occupation: software engineer (specializing in Internet technologies: java/J2EE, html, javascript, SQL, application servers, web servers, etc etc ... anyone have openings in the west?)
