I remember you. I tried to get you to leave, so we could go climbing early sunday, but you were lit up like the Rockefeller Center at Christmas. I remember all you others as well..... All of you.... Well, actually some of you were.... :D And some were...... But most just seem to be.....

I had a nice time with all the good peoples. Events like this are so much fun! I wish I went to a clinic, but I did not get tha chance to do it. I hope they have it every year! I hope to take a sport climbing clinic and learn all the lingo and what to wear and when it is best to say "take" and be safe instead of being dangerous! :D YEAH! amber_chk: thanks for the nice words. :D katydid: good luck with that. :D flamer: good climbing 8) addiroids: I still have some stuff you left here (shirt?) 8) betaben: love that Seneca chat! Take you up one time! Smith? copperhead: you charmer! Apples & oranges? Oh my! tucsonalex: you hot boi! Get a VW! g: good man. good belay. good pics. we'll climb again soon! :!: moabbeth: easy on the sauce (picante!) climbs4fun: she sure does! Go Girl! :D maculated: I am honored your dog bite me. 7 Times! Hooray! mothersheep: looked for you @ 4am. Get the note? :o fargoan: you da man! good climbing! :D vegastradguy: Nice job on that 10 :!: c4: Impressive climbing. You are a tough one! :D frantik: stop bogarting! Alex: That Hansel is so hot right now! hooker: can't do it without you. Maybe we can climb again one day? :D gumb: Love ya the mostest! {Que Highs Plains Drifter. In my best Geoffrey Lewis voice: Who are you?!} Anyone I left out? Apologies, it is not doen intentionally. Addled mind, you know! I know for a fact they lost money (sponsors), but I think they may try it again next year, because they probably learned so much this year. It is always tough the first time! But if people are open and honest about what the good and bad was, then they can make changes. If all people do is sugarcoat it and say it was the bomb diggety, it will not get better! All-in-all, it was one big party, and had little to do with actual climbing, but everyone I know that attended, even drkodos, was able to find something they liked. My biggest diappointment, and I am being sincere and straightforward here, is that I did not get the chance to scare most of you with climbing some death routes. Oh well....there is always next year! http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=25211

Back from our little trip (5 days in RR, 4 in Zion) . . . I had a blast. It was wonderful to meet some of you whom I've talked to in the past and even more wonderful to meet those of you I'd never met. I can honestly say that this week was probably one of the most fun/eventful/inspiring, I've had in a long time. Aside, of course, from the epic Art and I had. PASS PARTIES, people. PASS SLOW PARTIES!! And yes, I'll post trip reports in time. Off to go look at photos!

So much to say. But to sum it up, this was one of the best road trips ever. I met some of the coolest people who I really hope to spend more time with (Kristin, Damian, Deven, John), got all dazed/confused and spanked in Sin City, lead more than I followed, flashed my first sandstone 10a (cried for my blankie once so I blew the onsight), fell in love with Red Rocks, smoked, drank, got dirty, got cut up, lost 3 lbs, broke 3 nails, smelled lots of farts, met some celebs, gambled, hiked, hiked, hiked, drove, drove, drove and walked away from a road trip with a huge smile on my dirty face. Thanks again to my new found friends. I miss you guys already. I can't thank you enough for filling up my brain with so many fond memories to reflect on. And to the other rc.commers that I met, YAY! It was cool. Nice to finally put faces with names. I have more people to get all mushy about but the sun FINALLY came out. Time to walk the sheep. (Yes, I have accepted the fact that my pup is indeed a sheep). More later.

KELLY! It was so cool to meet you! I think you have a story for me too. And guess what? I may have one for you as well!! You need to get your happy butt out here to Colorado! Oh and as the Governator would say, "I'll be back." Sometime in May to be exact, hopefully. Next whirlwind trip to Vegas is in the prelim planning stages as we speak.

Well, looks like a second RRR is in the works. I just lifted this from R&I's Web site:
In reply to: March 18 to 20, 2005, tentative dates for second annual Red Rock Rendezvous, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area, Las Vegas, Nevada. What a great deal! $50 gets you slide shows, dinner/party/live music/beer, pancake breakfast, and clinics taught by the country's leading climbers on everything from crack-climbing to moderate sport climbing technique. Women's clinics available. $20 gets you all that except for the clinics. Remember dates and all info is to be confirmed. Keep an eye on www.mgear,com/rrr or, as the dates get closer, phone 800-829-2009.
