Sounds like a gud day. Since you didn't mention the area or names of the routes, I'll have to take your word on the grades. While it may not be obvious, I don't downrate to piss people off. I call it/ rate routes as I see it, relative to other confirmed grades on similar types of routes at well known and traveled areas. The tendency these days is for johnny cum lately, sprayer posers, who lack the depth and experience of lots of routes at the grade, who have barely left their backyard, to up grade routes cuz they had a hard time on it. B/c's become c's, d's become a's. It just makes me fuking sick.
In reply to: Monday I cleaned the mud and cobwebs out of the Monument and started taking my licks again on that.
The Monument looks like a gud route, steep enough. I'll be sure to check it out if I am ever at White Bluff.

They were at White Bluff. I'll admit they were both really straight forward and suited me nicely.
The Monument seeps all spring and most of the summer. The weather starts getting pretty chilly by the end of Oct. Lions Head is just across the bay from White Bluff.
