Where are you two meeting? You both fly to the same airport then fly West or East or whatever direction they fly there?

Meeting at the airport kinda sucks. Thankfully when I would pick Bec up I always had my truck. Bec's car wasn't quite as accommodating. I bet that in a pinch those "family" bathrooms would work.

I fly into Bangkok the night before (approx 20 hours prior) and I'll have already checked into the hotel, slept a night and half the day and will go collect her at the airport when she arrives. Her flight is a bit shorter than mine but she leaves a day later.
Well that kinda sucks.

I was hoping to hear tails of the mile high club.

Bangkok...

Hehehehe!!

Yeah... I always saw the ironing in the name Bangkok.
Did you ever see the Ladies Man movie?

The nun was going to Bangkok to assume a missionary position.

I bet it will pass pretty quick. You two will be so busy making eyes at each other.

Plus you will be headed on a sweet trip. That always makes the time out not as bad.

The flight home will be the suck.

See if you can pull off a hat-trick mile high club. That would be impressive.

We won't get a chance until our flight "together" from Bangkok to Krabi.

Does anyone else see a problem with going from Bangkok to Krabi with your wife?

Or anyone with their SO for that matter?

I'll take two weeks of Bangkok, and please hold the Krabi.

LMAO! Well, we get to climb near Krabi if that's any consolation.
Climbing + Krabi = Crazy

YMMV

I have never experienced the Thai version of crabby.

Well, from what I've heard it's originally "Bankok" without the g.... Also it may have come from Bang koh .... koh meaning island.

Anyway, it's easier than saying it's real name:

Mabye you can pull off a covert op.

On second thought, the "release" upon death would probably ruin your day/front steps.

Better call animal control.

Or t3h Brent, maybe he can fabricate a trap!
The neighbor, or rather neighbour, has a live trap that he catches them in. Then he has someone take them away.

I think I'll just try to evict them and maybe they will go over there and he can catch them and pay someone to take them away.

I need to get some ammonia. Apparently they don't like the smell of it.

That's ironic!!
Isn't it?

Ammonia burns your eyes, nose and throat doesn't it?

Definitely if you drank it! Definitely don't mix it with bleach!

I know it's severely toxic to aquatic animals, but it's found in most fertilizers and animal piss.

Yikes! If you use it Nathan, make sure it won't kill our plants that we have in the front.
The plants are expendable!!!!

You just soak a rag in ammonia and stick it down the hole.

Oh, that's not so bad.

Have you picked up the amonia yet, or are you just PC++ the day away?

Watch that you don't loose a hand when you're stick a rag down their hole! (or catch rabies)

I didn't build the front step.

I put chicken wire around the perimeter of the deck and buried it to hopefully keep them out of under there.

But getting back to our conversation about bodies, I think Doc might have been right. A while back I could smell this skunky nastiness in our basement. I think it might have been the skunks under the step.

I have heard that the only thing stinkier than a skunk is a dead skunk.

My cousin ran over a Skunk with her Camaro a number of years ago... ended up dragging the stink rodent a few hundered meters down the road (lower ground clearence). It was a damn hot summer that year too, and no amount of engine degreaser could get the smell away, especially when the engine warmed up.Crazy

I've told this tale before, but I'll share it again.

When I was young, growing up on a ranch, we had tons of ranch-cats. Near-feral things, we would feed them on the front porch in exchange for them keeping the local mouse population somewhat under control.

One afternoon approaching winter solstice as the days grew shorter, my older sister was just arriving home from school. Coming up the steps to the porch, she reached down to pet one of the cats eating from the cat food bowl. Of course, this was not one of the cats, but in the early evenind dusk that she didn't realize this until it stiffened it's back legs and released an immense cloud of pungent stuff.

It took several gallons of tomato juice to clean her and the front porch up to the point that it wouldn't make your eyes water.

The only thing she can really say about it after all these years is "Skunks? Yeah, I petted one. Once."

You have the car today, remember?

Today I have:
Washed dishes.
Trimmed your bush, actually several of your bushes and shrubs.
Filled in a skunk hole with dirt.
Filled in a bunch of other random holes in the FY with dirt.
Put grass seed on the barespots and thin spots.
Raked a bunch of junk out of the grass and flower beds.
Pulled a bunch of weeds.
Looked up how to get rid of skunks.
Put Your plants outside.
Made Kraft dinner for lunch.
Emailed my dad.
Emailed Frank
Taunted Cara.
And PC++ed a little.

Not necessarily all in that order.

I will use a stick to stuff the rag in the hole.

This is mildly entertaining.

Given a renewable power source - nuclear - electric cars requre no more than a few hundred watts to recharge. Now, if the infrastructure in both the US and Cananananada were setup in transport friendly ways this would be a viable option.

E85 will be a streeeeeetch when, say, there's a food shortage in the world. Good as renewable, but still is a bit of a demand when it comes to sustanability.

Make me an E85 hybrid and you may be onto something. Make it affordable for everyone to swap over to and you'll corner the market.

Sorry. No sympathy from the gynormous SUV driver here.

Fuck! Sound like he's had an awesome day!!!

- I've talked with my Mech counterparts to figure out the operation of the job I'm doing tomorrow.
- Programmed some error proofing boxes on a screen as per that discussion.
- Went to boring meeting #1 that had nothing to do with me.
- Looked at wiring on the floor to see how hard it'll be to move for a new station we're installing.
- Went to boring meeting #2 that had nothing to do with me.
- Tried to figure out how to add programming to a rework bay.
- Found out a friend was going to do the Hueco guide training and decided I hated work and I miss travel.
- PC++ a little longer than I should have surrounding lunch.
- Tried to figure out the rework bay programming again.
- Went to boring meeting #3 that had nothing to do with me.
- Got beat up by the construction guys about the lousy wiring diagrams given to me by the vendor.
- Made photo copies of said lousy drawings.
- PC++

Its been a busy and shitty day. Fridays normally have the most boring meetings that have nothing to do with me.

Thanks I guess.
I don't know if I'd call it preggers sexy, but it is different. Kind of like the feisty-red-head in a laytex body-suit sexy. Different.

Though - a totally hetero statement - I thought it would be bigger.
It's 16' wide, actually 16'-4". Bec wanted to make it bigger but our backyard isn't very big nor is our house. I didn't want it to overpower either.

I think it will be big enough, just not big enough for all the La-Z-Boy outdoor furniture crap along with all the normal stuff you have on a deck.

I still think it'll be pretty cramped if you try to get a table out there. I'm thinking we'll have to get a little table and some little chairs to make it work. Of course, we can't hardly afford to buy a new table right now :S.
Maybe chossy could make them?

We were pretty excited. I don't know about for Art, but the flight didn't seem all that bad to me. And my feet were swollen to the size of balloons since it was only 11 weeks after my accident. It was a little painful after a while, but I don't remember the flight being horrible.

See if you can smuggle some shooters on the plane. You know, those little bottle shots.

It will make things much more fun on the plane over.

Not much of a drinker unfortunately... I'll have to smuggle a couple of good books on instead.... it's going to be an interesting 20 hours.

It's not so bad. We watched a few movies. Read a little.

Yeah, it's not too bad.... especially since I'll be soooo excited headed over there. I haven't seen my girl since Christmas!!!

We were pretty excited. I don't know about for Art, but the flight didn't seem all that bad to me. And my feet were swollen to the size of balloons since it was only 11 weeks after my accident. It was a little painful after a while, but I don't remember the flight being horrible.
The layover in taipei was the worst part, sitting in an uncomfortable and cold airport terminal for hours...

I have a two hour layover in Tokyo, but then an eight hour layover on my flight home.... that will be the suck!
