In reply to: joeschmoe you bringing some home brews? they will be there, nice and cooled. all dark beer except for the meade i'll bring (the pale ale won't be carbonated by then :() nbrown I'm assuming there will be beef jerky, that stuff was good. Travis you outta get some PBR its better than natty light, but still cost effective and tastes better from a can. or if you wanna cheap splurge go w/ amber boch.

oh the only thing stopping me from making it is getting to the grocery store early enough so they can slice it thin for me. a friend of mine at work brought me some dried habanero peppers he grew and he ground them up I think I'm gonna sprinke them w/ that stuff. gotta make that hot one a little spicier joeschmoe.

*mental note* bring baby wipes, will be burning by sunday.... if you can man wear gloves while handling that powder, and don't touch anything sensitive till that stuff is washed off. (speaking from experience).

In reply to: In reply to: I'll be one of the friendly judges at hound ears; so bring plenty of extra beer if you want to do well...I want to enter one of the other two comps, hp I guess. What exactly do the judges, "judge"? Is it just ya'lls responsibility to add up the points at the end of the day? Just trying to figure how much beer to bring... Travis Travis, I like Anchor Steam. "Friendly" Judge Sean

I'm headed out the door now. Kick ass. I took note of y'all's car types and whatnot. Keep an eye out for my 4runner. Quickdraw hanging from the rearview mirror(what a poser) and Tennessee tags. Oh, and a stick clip tied onto the roof (what a poser) If ya'll find me, at least one beer will be on me! Travis

Just found out today I can make it to the hp40 one. I'm a solid v0-v1 boulderer, so will they have divisions for people like me, or is just an open comp? See you all there. <=glen=>

In reply to: Isnt it going to be cold at the horsepen one?? LOL... I'll be there, but is everyone gonna camp? We can only hope that it will be nice a cold for the comp. Like 40 and sunny? That is the best weather for HP 40. The camping there is super nice, just bring a warm sleeping bag. Or you can stay up the road a ways in a hotel. Houndears kicked ass. I had major fun and sent some new stuff. Wes

I don't know how ya'll climbed hard enough. My fingers still hurt too much to type. nbrown, I was looking for your stanza, but couldn't find it. On saturday night I got slightly inebriated and had to turn it in pretty early. MR, How did your daughter do in the comp? Ingesting all of those charred black marshmellows wasn't holding her back was it? Travis

In reply to: I ended up driving my dad's blazer so we would have more room I think I was camped near you but I couldn't find where you were camped. I was up at the top of the hill next to the BIG fire, but on the opposite side of all the other cars. I kind of made my own parking spot! hahaha. Other than that, I was dragging a 20 gallon blue cooler around, and drinking just a little too much. Are you coming to the LRC comp? Travis

Hell, I"m good to go tomorrow... This month has flown by, I'm in the mood to do some cranking at LRC. I probably aught to start getting prepared for the thrashing I'll be taking from the female youth division. MR's girl Vic is a force to be reconed with! Hahaha Travis
